Frequently Asked Questions

When will you open?

June 10th is our GRAND OPENING! We are excited to see you all there for a fantastic day filled with goodies, food and good times from 11am-6pm.

What will you be selling?

The goal of The Pine Branch is to showcase as many of the Artisans and Makers of Tennessee as we can. To support the wonderful work of Tennessee creatives. We want you to be able to walk in, grab anything and know that the item you grabbed was created here in Tennessee (except our collection of vintage and classic novels). There will be a selection of gifts, souvenirs or just items you love for yourself and prepackaged snacks and drinks from across the state of Tennessee. Our collection of vintage classic novels will be available for you to read on the premises in our lounge area or for purchase for you to take home for your reading pleasure or as a gift to a loved one.

Where are you located?

124 West Central, La Follette, TN 37766 - The Ben Rogers building

I’m a Tennessee Artisan/Maker - can I have my products sold in your shop?

More than likely, yes! The more local support we get for the shop, the more we’ll be able to stock and support other makers. We have been building relationships with makers across the state for the last two years so we already have a long list of wonderful creators and their products but we are always looking for more. Please read the below notes and send us an email at thepinebranch@gmail.com

Some things to consider:

  • Some items are more popular to make than others and we can only allot space for a certain amount of one type of item at a time. This means that, although we want to stock your item and support you, there may be a waitlist. Some items included on the waitlist, but not limited to, are candles, body butter/salves (or there like), soaps, fragranced items, signs, hot sauce and more.

  • We do not operate on a consignment basis. Although, helping spread the word of the shop will benefit our future purchases from you, our goal is to provide as much support as we can to our producers by relieving them of the marketing process, wait to receive payment and space concerns. This means purchasing wholesale, up front and working our tushes off to showcase the fine work of Tennesseans. In order for us to stock your product we would need to see a wholesale catalog complete with wholesale pricing, unit information, MSRPs and minimums.

  • If you are a food producer, please bear in mind that your food products must be made in a commercial kitchen with the appropriate packaging.

Will you be accepting products covered under the FFA (Farm Freedom Act)?

As the FFA is a fairly new act, we want to ensure we are abiding to the best of our abilities. Please email us at thepinebranch@gmail.com so we can better understand the nature of your product.

Will you be serving food?

Although we will be stocking prepackaged snacks (think Goo Goo Clusters, Sweetwater Valley cheeses, Appalachian Trail Mix, fancy popcorns etc) we will not be a food service establishment. You are more than welcome to purchase a snack or drink and rest in our lounge area while enjoying your Tennessee fare. We will have books on our shelves for you to read (or bring your own favorite novel! Tayler will always be open to talking about books with you!), Chess, Cribbage, Captain’s Mistress, Voltaire Solitaire, playing cards and a TV with silent black and white classics running for you to enjoy while snacking.
